Zhao Ruizhen was born in 1975. He got his Ph.D. degree from Xidian University. After that he was with a postdoctoral fellow in Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is currently a professor and supervisor of doctor student. His research interests include wavelet transform and its applications, algorithms of image and signal processing, compressive sensing and sparse representation. He has been a principal investigator of a lot of projects including Natural Science Foundation of China. He is also a participant of several projects such as national 863 plan projects and military defense projects. He has published a monograph and more than 61 papers, 9 of which were indexed by SCI(E).
