Xiangqian Liu received his B.S.E. and M.S.E. degree in Control Theory & Its application from Harbin Institute of Technology in 1993 and 1996, and Ph. D degree in Control Theory & Control Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2000. Since September 2000, he has been with the Institute of Information Science at Beijing Jiaotong University, where he is currently an associate professor. His research interests include speech recognition and network control etc. He is now doing a project on “Key technology and software development of Microcomputer-based Interlocking”.
