Gaoyun AN is currently an associate professor in Institute of Information Science in Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU). He received the B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in signal and information processing from Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) in 2003 and 2009 respectively. He has been engaged in R&D work in face recognition such as subspace analysis and neural networks etc. He has participated in the projects on face recognition from NSFC and 973 Program. He has published more than 30 papers in many international journals and conferences, and filed 1 national patent.
